When I was in May at the Google headquarters in Dublin for 4 interviews, I had - back home - decided that Dublin for me, unfortunately, is nothing. Sure, it sounds crazy ... the first time since one has ever get the chance to work for Google, and then you say "sorry, but it is not easy." Dublin is a real nice city, but Ebsolut nothing for me - I've felt comfortable simply because zero. And one has to - at least in my opinion - feel somewhat in their environment. Still buzzing in my head still the dream around, but it create even Google ... maybe some day in Germany. Until then, however, certainly take a lot of time ....
Now that I have some interviews with other great companies behind me, I can already draw a little comparison. And I must say with Google, I have felt during the interviews, most comfortable, and the whole atmosphere was extremely positive. Not like other large firms which have a nice FACADE and a promise is a nice starting salary, and then - just before the contract is - to call and say: " oh, sorry, but we have the starting salary by 20 " (yes. .. in WORDS: TWENTY) to reduce " percent because our council is not otherwise join in . " A stupid excuse, I think I never heard of. How do the please get started after such an action before? Google, however said the same: we can pay you X €. Is that ok for you? That's what I call directly and fairly from the beginning.
But back to Google: after I found this video today, I will just publish it here and say: "Hey , her would-be professionals, exploiters and companies ... look here! How it works too! . "
just a pity that most of the big companies, the disk probably NOT be cut off from Google As I said in the video: the throw a good knife (= a good employee) better off after they have let it be dull (= burn out) and just get a new one, rather than maintain it (= work / life balance) and thus to use a knife that is long in any case a great analogy.; . -) Anyway ... my résumé is for today: Google FTW yeah :-)
